VMA Love

The VMAs are one of my favorite award shows to watch.

And after last year's Kayne/Taylor Swift disaster, EVERYONE was watching last night.

I think it's safe to say that Taylor was once again they better, classier performer.

Am I right?

And can I say how happy I am for all of Lady Gaga's wins?! I absolutely love that Cher presented her the moonman for video of the year!

My absolute favorite video that was up for nomination and absolute favorite performance of the night had to go to Florence + the Machine.

Seriously, How great is this video?

September Love

Fall is my absolute favorite time for fashion and there's no month I love more for it that September!

I find it to be so much fun to mix summer with fall.

This current combination of a tank top, summer skit, sweater, and boots is favorite. It's great to be wearing something so completely summery, but bringing small hints of fall in to the outfit with the sweater and the tones of the clothes.

It's gonna be a good season for beautiful outfits :)

Cycle 15

It's no secret that I love fashion.

Therefore, I love everything associated with fashion.

Styling, beauty, designers, fashion editors, of course photography...and modeling!

I love America's Next Top Model.

Actually more than just love. More like extremely dedicated to following every single episode every single season.

So my last night consisted of nothing more than excitement for the 15th season!

Lexie

Rhianna is practically a given for the top two after showing off her amazing posing skills during the audition.

And Lexie...she screams high fashion with that face.

And is anyone else as excited as I am that the competition is that much better with the prize now consisting of two (yeah, you read that right - two) speads in Italian Vogue?!

It's gonna be a good season.

Little Things I Love

Listening to piano solos on hot summer days

Little Things I Love is my new personal project to keep me photographing.

Since I've recently graduated from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography's Summer Intensive, I've struggled with finding reasons to pick up my camera. Sure, I photographed the Western Montana Fair immediately following my graduation, but other than that my camera has done nothing but sit in its bag.

I made a personal decision to not get a photography job until after I complete the Advance Intensive next fall. And then I remembered my list - my list of little things I love. I began the list the summer I graduated from high school and built upon it over the past few years. In short, it's a list of the simple things that make me smile. I pull it out whenever I have a bad day to remind myself why I keep going, why life is worth living.

My attempt is to capture these little things in a photo and share them with you.
